permanent stay permit KITAPThe Indonesian Permanent stay Permit (KITAP) is an Indonesian Immigration License which is given to a foreigner who's previously held The Indonesian Limited stay Permit (KITAS) for five consecutive years. The Indonesian Permanent stay permit (KITAP) is the conversion proceedings given to a foreigner after possessing five (5) of The Indonesian Limited stay permit (KITAS), which simply means five consecutive years of staying in Indonesia.

 

The KITAP is valid for five years consecutively and it is issued as a permanent stay license from The Indonesian Immigration Directorate General to the following:

  1. Foreign Capital investment;
  2. An expert on particular fields;
  3. working as a company's top leaders;
  4. working as a clergy;
  5. To join an Indonesian wife or an Indonesian husband;
  6. To Join his or her parents for a legitimate child who holds a foreign passport or nationality;
  7. To join a husband or a wife who is currently an Indonesian KITAP holder;
  8. Minors joining his or her parents who is currently an Indonesian KITAP holder;
  9. Regaining an Indonesian Citizenship;
  10. An elderly travelers

 

The Indonesian Permanent stay permit (KITAP) can be considered as the preliminary stage for becoming an Indonesian Citizen, this Permanent license is obtained by filing an applications to the nearest Indonesian Immigration office & by submitting the following supporting documentations:

  1. An application letter for obtaining the Indonesian permanent stay permit (KITAP);
  2. Recent photographs of the applicant;
  3. Sponsorship letter & The Identification Card of The sponsor;
  4. The applicant valid passport, The blue book and The applicant Limited Stay Permit Card (KITAS);
  5. Domicile Letter from the local Indonesian village office;
  6. Conversion letter signed by the applicant;
  7. The applicant birth certificate;
  8. Legalized copy of the applicant marriage certificate.
